In the fall of 2024, I got the chance to work for Prof. Grandini's Laboratório de Anelasticidade e Biomateriais at UNESP in Bauru, Brazil. We investigated the characteristics of a new titanium alloy for applications in medical technology. I really appreciate the hands on approach, conducting most steps, from sample fabrication to evaluation, in one laboratory.
